Sustainable development of fisheries areas

The crucial difference between Axis 4 and other measures in this and other programmingperiods of the EFF is not so much in the contents of the actions. In fact, as we will see later,many of the actions carried out in Axis 4 will probably be similar to those implemented underprevious programmes like PESCA, INTERREG, and EQUAL. The main added-value of axis 4lies in the way in which these actions are implemented and linked together, both in and by,fishing communities themselves.
