The 2009 report on R&D in ICT in the European Union

This report is the IPTS annual "PREDICT" report, which presents all the data available on ICT R&D private and public expenditures in Europe, at sector level, at country level, in an international perspective (benchmarking), and at company level. It covers data for the period 2001 - 2005 (and also 2006 for company data). The report includes in its second part a thematic analysis on R&D output in ICT and provides a detailed investigation of ICT R&D output based on the analysis of patent data.2
