The Availability of the Technological Environment and Data Privacy and Its Impact on the Application of Cloud Computing In Charitable Organizations in Palestine

The study aimed to identify the availability of the technological environment and data privacy and its impact on the application of cloud computing in charitable institutions in Palestine. Using the stratified random sampling method, where the study sample consisted of (294) employees, and in order to collect data, a questionnaire was developed where (300) questionnaires were distributed to the heads of boards of directors in addition to the executive directors as well as the heads of departments, and (241) questionnaires were retrieved, or a percentage of 82%. The study found that the relative weight of the readiness of the technological environment to support cloud computing reached (79.47%), and data privacy and security represented (71%). The study presented a number of recommendations, the most important of which is the need to work on developing remedial plans to eliminate the obstacles that hinder the use of cloud computing. On the other hand, the study recommended the need for institutions to respond more and more effectively to the aspirations of donors with regard to the application of cloud computing technology
