The boundary layer behavior of angular momentum polarizations in polyatomic gases
A qualitative picture is given of the profiles of angular momentum polarizations in a rarefied polyatomic gas that transports heat or momentum between parallel plates. The behavior of the polarizations near the boundary is characterized in terms of accomodation and reflection coefficients.
