This study provides cost data for different heating appliances, covering: gas boilers, oil boilers, biomass boilers (pellet), air source heat pumps, ground source heat pumps, air-air heat pumps (air conditioners), direct acting electric heaters (panel heaters), storage heaters (high heat retention storage heaters, dynamic/fan-assisted storage heaters, and standard/slimline storage heaters). The cost of each technology is broken down into key constituent components (including materials, labour, ancillary costs), and high and low estimates are also provided where available.
