The Effect of Change Management on Performance : A Case of Chinhoyi University of Technology

The study sought to investigate the effect of change management on performance of Chinhoyi University of Technology. The organization changed the way it operated from paper to adoption of modern technology. With more than 15 players such as CUT, NUST, Bindura university, Great Zimbabwe, Ezekiel Guti, University of Zimbabwe in the higher tertiary industry (Herald, 2013) offering the same services, students are finding it difficult to make their enrollment decisions and choosing the best institution. These institutions are almost charging same educational fees, yet price or fees has been known to be the most common factor considered before making enrollment decision. This has made it difficult for students to select the best tertiary institution. Chinhoyi University of Technology has been left wondering which decision criteria students are using to make when choosing academic institutions, and the organization has since managed to embrace change in a bid to remain relevant in the industry
