The FOR-RIS blueprint : experiences and ideas for developing foresight in a regional innovation strategy context (RIS/RITTS)

The FOR-RIS blueprint is part of a set of five blueprints addressing five different regional contexts developed by the expert group "Blueprints for Foresight actions in the Regions". The POR-RIS blueprint outlines how to combine the more short term regional innovation strategies (RIS/RITTS) initiatives with the more long-term time perspective of foresight initiatives. It formulates new alternatives of regional development and also the development of regional innovation systems. Key questions are considered in relation to the planning, operations and implementation of a foresight exercise, in the context of the development of regional innovation system.
