The generalized Charlier series distribution as a distribution with two-step recursion
The paper provides a generalization of the discrete Charlier series distribution as a counting distribution which satisfies two-step recursion. Some properties of the proposed distribution are studied. A recursion formula is given for the evaluation of corresponding compound distributions.
