The Inverse Problem of Finding the Type of Fastening of Membrane
The problem of finding the fastening of the membrane from the natural frequencies is considered. The problem in question belongs to the class of inverse problems and completely natural problem of identification of the boundary conditions. The search for the unknown boundary conditions is equivalent to finding the span of the vectors of coefficients of the unknown conditions. A method for establishing the unknown conditions is indicated. An approximate formula for determining the unknown conditions is obtained using first three natural frequencies. The theorem of stability of the solution is proved. The method of approximate calculation of unknown boundary conditions is explained with the help of the example
