The Monetary Politics and the Inflation in Romania

The analysis of the inflation in Romania, must take into account both the inflationist pressions that action on the side of the request and the ones that manifest on the side of the offer. Thus is possible to identify the anti-inflationist measures that hint both at the control of the demand excess and at the moderation of the factors that determine the inflation through costs. The economic conditions from Romania impeded the central bank to consequently follow and realize the inflation goals. In some stages, the adjustment of the current account imposed the addaptation of the exchange rate as intermediary goal of the monetary politics. In general, when the national currency depreciates, contributing at the restriction of the current account's deficit, the inflationist pressions increase
