Describes the training programme set up by Allrich, Inc. a highly successful manufacturing firm. The aim was to set up a training model which was sufficiently flexible to accommodate the needs of all individuals in the organization. It was set up on the basis of organization mission statements, out of which a corporate needs profile was drawn up. This was followed by assessment of individual learning eeds to provide an individual needs profile. The goal was for each learner to define what his or her training programme would be like and to be responsible for organizing it. Identifies the advantage of the model.
