The process of costs calculation according to the concept of time-driven activity based costing

The article presents complete and systematized information about the process of cost calculations of the cost object according to the concept of time-driven activity based costing which is an improved version of a standard concept of activity based costing. The author shows an example of cost calculation in a commercial department for three costs objects according to the concept of time-driven activity based costing and indicates all the features of this method of cost calculation. Some of these features result mainly from the application of time equations – which are an integral part of the structure of the model while others are the consequence of another way of acting in a calculating process in comparison with the standard version of activity based costing.
