The Reality of Liquidity Management in Islamic Banks - A Case Study of Al Salam Bank Algeria (2014-2019)

This study aims to discuss the issue of liquidity management in Algerian Islamic banks. The study relied on both descriptive and analytical methodology. By determining bank liquidity management, then addressing Islamic banks; their products; services, and finally exploring the reality of liquidity management at Al Salam Bank Algeria during the years 2014-2019, Based on its annual financial reports.The study found that Al Salam Bank Algeria achieves positive indicators and results, but it focuses on profitability more than liquidity, and therefore it exposes itself to high liquidity risks
