The Sources of Risk in IT Projects

Too small participation of IT project ending with the full success induces to search for solutions in different areas. One of fundamental is a risk. The risk is derivative of generating its sources. However this subject is treated as a marginal in the literature. This article is tending to supplement that gap by the reference to the sources of risk in IT projects. The authors identify sources of risk important to IT projects in specific areas characteristic to IT venture. That identification of sources will constitute o base to determine a risk packet specific for a given IT project. Relying on that base related to the sources makes possible to manage the risk in IT projects and to increase its efficiency
