The State of the International Investment Law and Policy Regime (国际投资法和政策制度的现状*)

English Abstract:The author reviews the state of the investment regime, which is probably the strongest international regime in existence today. He identifies three main areas for improvement, relating to the regime's objectives, substantive provisions and dispute-settlement mechanism. Changes will have to be driven by civil society.Chinese Abstract:本文回顾了现行国际投资体制的运行情况，并提出了以下三个待改进的问题，分别是：投资体系的职责、实质性条款和争端解决机制。
