The two-box model of a bistable chemical system: Stationary probability distribution
A numerical method for calculating the stationary probability distribution for a two-box model of a bistable chemical system is developed. The probability distribution contours for a choice of values of the diffusion coefficients are displayed, and the relevance of these results to analytical approaches to the problem is discussed.
