Theoretical and Practical Problems in the Introduction of the Interbranch Balance for Planning the National Economy

Defining the tasks in economic management and planning, the Communist Party has emphasized in its Program that proportionality must be rigorously observed in the development of the country's economy. The solution of this problem in the process of elaborating plans hinges on balance methods of calculation. Of major importance among them is the interbranch balance of production and distribution in the national economy. This method is especially important in that it makes it possible to use electronic computing techniques and hence increases considerably the effectiveness of balance calculations.
