Theoretical Problems Pertaining To the Management of the Economy of Developing Countries

From the 2nd to the 5th of October of this year, the Third Inter-republic Scientific Conference of Institutions of Higher Education on the study of economic and social problems of developing countries was held in Leningrad. It was organized at the initiative of the chair of economics of modern capitalism of Leningrad State University. Over a hundred scientists from institutions of higher learning and associates of academic institutions and departmental scientific research institutes took part in the work of the conference. The participants were from Leningrad, Moscow, Sverdlovsk, Ivanovo, and other cities in the RSFSR, as well as from cities in other union republicsâKiev, Riga, Dushanbe, and Tashkent. Over fifty papers and addresses were delivered.
