Towards a More People-Centered Paradigm in Social Development

This article sets out to strengthen and extend the theoretical, and hence practical, concept of social development. In the last few years, the functions of and methods applied social development policies are increasing. This particular study advances the new concept of a more people-centered paradigm in the field of social development. Due to the vast array of topics and policy areas that are dealt with within the study of social development, this new school of thought sets out to accommodate new needs and find new methods to address large and smaller issues in social development alike, while also holding a strong critical standpoint against the traditional growth-oriented paradigm in the study of social development
