Transforming Education : A Review of the Impact of Information Technology on Digital Teaching, Digital Learning, and Human Resource Management
The advent of new and emerging technologies has brought about a rapid pace of change across various aspects of life, including education. With the increasing use of information technology in classrooms, traditional methods of teaching and learning are being challenged. This paper provides a comprehensive review of the impact of information technology on digital teaching, learning, and human resource management in education. As IT becomes more prevalent in daily life, it is having a major impact on all curriculum areas. The accessibility of worldwide communication through technology provides instant access to vast amounts of data, which in turn challenges the assimilation and assessment skills of learners. As IT becomes increasingly accessible at home, work, and educational institutions, learning can become a lifelong activity that requires constant evaluation of the learning process itself. This paper examines the challenges and opportunities presented by the integration of information technology in education and provides insights into how this transformative process can be harnessed for greater effectiveness in teaching, learning, and HR management
