Trigonometric method for conformal mapping with algebraic polynomials by the use of a repetitive differential analyser
This paper describes the method for conformal mapping with algebraic polynomials by the use of a repetitive differential analyser. Particular stress has been given to the application of conformal mapping to the problem of the stability of the feedback system. The determination of real and complex zeros of algebraic polynomials is treated as a special case of conformal mapping. In this work use was made only of the elements of the linear part of the repetitive differential analyser as well as of linear ganged potentiometers. The solution is suitable for visual observation on the screen of the cathode oscilloscope. The procedure of solution is not iterative.
