Vietnam's inconsistencies between political structure and socio-economic practice : Implications for the nation's future

According to the authors, the political structure of Vietnam continues to undergo fundamental changes, but the extent to which these changes will affect Vietnamese life remains to be seen. They explore political reform in this country within the context of unique traditional Vietnamese governance and current social, economic and political developments.
