What Determines a Game to Be Cooperative or Non-Cooperative?

It is not only the rule of a game that determines whether the game is cooperative or not in some instances. The historical strategies of the players in the game have a great effect on it also. Rational players will choose their strategies to make the game to be cooperative or non-cooperative, and then the structure of the game partially relies on, in which case they can maximize their payoffs. By using numerical values denoting the relations between players, players' power to change the structure of games can be taken into consideration. A novel game model was put forward in this study, and either of cooperative or non-cooperative games are just specific cases of it. The relation between two players has an effect on whether they can cooperative in a game, to what extent they can believe in the other side, and how they can expect the outcome of the game. Therefore, rational players must consider the relations in choosing their strategies and estimate the possible change of it in current game, since it will influence their payoffs in the following games.
