What Will an Appreciation of China's Currency Do to Inward and Outward FDI? (人民币升值对内部和外部 FDI 有何影响)

Chinese Abstract: 不仅仅是在进出口方面，人民币升值将会对中国的外国和对外直接投资产生影响。对国外直接投资的影响既是正面的，也是负面的。另一方面，人民币升值很可能促进近些年已形成势头的中国跨国公司的境外投资。中国对外直接投资具有政治动机的猜测并不是系统性证据所证明的。世界其他地区应该从中学习如何从此类投资中获益，而非设立保护主义壁垒。
