Working time flexibility in Austria

The flexibilisation of working time is considered to be one of the most significant transformations in work practices in the last decade, not only in Austria but in the European Union as a whole, with far-reaching implications for peopleu0092s quality of life. This report on the subject examines findings from an ad-hoc module on work organisation and working time arrangements, based on data from the Austrian Mikrozensus survey as part of the European Labour Force Survey. It highlights the impact of non-standard and flexible working time arrangements on the work-life balance of workers.
