Training #1: Searching literature
In this training, students can practice searching for literature in economics and business studies with interactive exercises. The trainings cover the following topics:
- using different search tools in economics and business studies (including EconBiz)
- identifying keywords and alternative terms for a literature search
- developing a search string with keywords and operators

Training #2: Assessing publication quality
In this training, students can practice assessing the quality of scholarly information in economics and business studies based on a set of established criteria. The interactive exercises cover the following topics:
- assessing scholarly journals and articles based on their citation
- checking if an article has gone through a peer review process
- assessing the quality of an online publication using the CRAAP-test

Training #3: Avoiding plagiarism
In this training students develop strategies to avoid unintentional plagiarism in their economics and business papers. The interactive exercises cover the following topics:
- recognizing different types of plagiarism
- correctly using quotations and paraphrases (in APA style)
- correctly citing sources in the text and in the reference list
