10th Annual Workshop of the Households in Conflict Network “Micro-foundations of conflict and violence: economic analysis and impact evaluation”
We are seeking new and innovative contributions that shed light either on the microeconomic analysis of peace and conflict or on the evaluation of the impact of projects and programs that aim to reduce violence and promote peace and development. A non-exhaustive list of themes we are interested in is: former combatants, refugees, health and education, corruption and governance, trust and social capital, income and land inequality, cash transfers, mobile technology, police and security, anti-personal mines, elections, taxation, trade. We also have a particular interest in papers that consider the short term and long term effects of conflict and violence on poverty at a micro level. The workshop is organized in the context of the Fragility Platform organized by the World Bank.
