2011 Family Enterprise Research Conference "Strategic Entrepreneurship in Family Business: How do Family Businesses Promote & Manage Entrepreneurial Activity?"
FERC is dedicated to developing a community of scholars interested in conduct of research to improve understanding of the family firms and create usable knowledge. The conference aims to enable scholars to design and develop research and applicability to family firms. While submissions on all topics relevant to family business are encouraged, those focusing on the 2011 theme are especially welcome. The medium for presentation at the conference for all accepted submissions is the scholarly poster. Throughout the years, the poster sessions have proven to be a productive and enjoyable medium to interact in constructive one-on-one dialogue. Many ‘work-in-process’ pieces have benefited from the insights uncovered through this developmental method.
