21st Annual Financial Markets Conference "Getting a Grip on Liquidity: Markets, Institutions, and Central Banks" - Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta
The 2016 Financial Markets Conference will examine liquidity from academic, regulatory, and market participant points of view. We seek to understand the various definitions and aspects of liquidity with an emphasis on the relationship to financial stability and monetary policy effectiveness. Current working titles for conference policy sessions include: - How should we think about institutional liquidity? - Who will supply the capacity to make markets in the future? - How does market structure influence liquidity? - How is unconventional policy affecting market liquidity? What will be the impact of the eventual return to (the new) normal monetary policy? Conference is by invitation only.
