32nd Cambridge International Symposium on Economic Crime - Jesus College, University of Cambridge
The title of the Symposium is Information – Shield, Sword and Achilles Heel in the fight against economic crime? The Thirty-second symposium will focus on the advantages and vulnerabilities that today’s information orientated society presents us with in fighting and protecting ourselves from economic crime. The appropriate and timely use of data can reduce exposure to risk and facilitate effective action against those who seek to exploit through criminal and subversive means the integrity of our institutions and economies. However, the misuse of data and its manipulation and misappropriation can itself expose us to profound risks and dangers. Expert international speakers from around the world will address these issues in plenary sessions with opportunities for interaction and further discussion in a number of specialised practical workshops and think tanks.
