The topics covered in the seminar will fit within the following broad themes: - the various models of the financial regulatory architecture, including the ‘twin peaks’ model adopted for future financial regulation in the United Kingdom; - the benefits and challenges in delivering a more judgement-based, forward-looking approach to prudential supervision; and - the interplay between macroprudential and microprudential regulation and supervision.
