CESifo Workshop on "Labor Market Search and Policy Applications"
The purpose of the workshop is to stimulate research in the search and matching literature and to bring together high-profile researchers with younger colleagues. The work presented at the workshop should cover theoretical as well as empirical contributions to the search literature. Given the strength of the literature to quantitatively assess theoretical models, the aim of the workshop is to promote the connection of theory and quantitative applications addressing policy relevant questions. The workshop will put particular emphasis on wage dispersion and inequality, labor supply and participation as well as firm dynamics, job creation and job destruction.
