Conference "Complexity, Innovation and Management - the paradox of stability and change"
There is presently considerable interest in innovation and the question of how people in organisations can be more creative. Innovation is often imagined as being positive and arising from rational intervention. From a management perspective this often leads to focusing attention on planning, and how to design working methods which are more likely to bring about innovative products and services. The conference programme is a mixture of plenaries and small group discussions where conference participants will be able to explore themes which have struck them as being important in conversation with others.
