The organisers welcome submissions of theoretical and empirical papers from economists and researchers – in academia, central banks or financial institutions – covering one or several of the following themes: - Recent as well as trend developments in euro area markets for banks’ debt financing, cross-country differences in various market segments for banks’ debt financing, possibly relating also to the US experience, structural changes in the post-crisis environment. - Structuring and pricing of banks’ debt financing instruments. - Explanations of banks’ debt financing decisions – in particular longer-term debt like bank bonds, covered bonds, and ABS. - Implications of recent developments in the markets for banks’ debt financing for financial integration and monetary transmission. - Possible effects of future regulation on different market segments for banks’ debt financing.
