Final Conference of the PAKT Project "Economics of an Integrated and Long-Term Climate and Energy Policy"
The focus of the conference will be on the assessment of green growth strategies. The goal is to clarify the challenges of smart and sustainable growth as well as to provide solutions. There will be an introduction to the green growth debate, given by Ottmar Edenhofer (PIK & MCC), a summary of the project results will be given by Andreas Löschel (ZEW). Sjak Smulders (Tilburg University), Carolyn Fischer (Resources for the Future), and Robert Stavins (Harvard University) will be keynote speakers. Additionally, there will be a panel discussion whether green growth is an illusion or not.
