Firms' financing and default risk during and after the crisis
The aim of this conference is to take stock of a number of recent studies that aim at assessing the evolution of firms' financing during the crisis and of its consequences for their default risk and survival. Besides two keynote lectures by David Scharfstein (Harvard Business School and NBER) and Murillo Campello (Cornell University and NBER), three sessions will respectively focus on "firms' financing decisions and bank lending during the crisis", "Bank's lending decisions" and "Firms' financing and risks of default and bankruptcy". A round-table about recent evolutions and prospects of firms' financing will close the conference.
