Theme of the Conference: - Viability of Microfinance as a tool for inclusive growth - Role of Agricultural Credit in rural growth - Models of inclusive growth - Regulation of Microfinance - Joining these pieces together for a structured framework The aim of this conference is to bring innovative thinkers and policy makers together to advance financial inclusion and to address some of the following questions: - How can reforms in financial products and services respond to those most at risk of financial exclusion? - What is the role played by microfinance and rural agriculture credit in spurring rural growth? - How can the role of institutions like NABARD, rural co-operative banks and others be maximised to ensure participation from most vulnerable sections of our society?
