Ifo/CESifo & Bundesbank Conference on "The Banking Sector and the State"
The conference is intended to address the above-mentioned questions, which are currently at the centre of the policy debate. To this end, papers are solicited in the areas of macroeconomics, banking and finance, including - The role of institutions and interlinkages before and during financial crises. - Bank liquidity and systemic stability: the macroprudential perspective. - “Too big to fail”, bailouts and exit strategies, the economics of “bad banks”. - The political economy of public banks. Both theoretical and empirical papers are welcome.
