III International Scientific Conference „Economy, culture, values - Metaeconomics"
Metaeconomics is, roughly speaking, an organized reflection on the fundaments of economics. It consists of new way of analysis of the economics, understood as science, thought collective, form of consciousness and discourse. Metaeconomics is an organized systematic reflection that can be pursued in the immanent way – in this case it focuses on the economics conceived as a scientific discourse, on the practice of doing economics (then it encompasses epistemological and ontological problems, analyzed by philosophy of science and methodology of sciences). It can be pursued in the transcendent fashion as well - in this case metaeconomic reflection takes up the field of economics from the external perspective, from the perspective of the other disciplines, and analyzes traditional objects studied by economics (such as market, bank, credit, commodity, phenomenon of production, exchange and consumption, etc.) using the concepts derived from of psychology, organization theory, anthropology, history, history of ideas, ethics, international relations or discourse theory. The conference will focus on the several fields of the metaeconomic reflection: I Philosophy of economics, II. Anthropology of economics, III. Economic sociology, IV. Political economy.
