International Conference on Applied Statistics for Development in Africa - SADA'07
The main objectives of the conference can be state as follows: - To offer an opportunity for theoreticians and practitioners of statistical methods to meet and exchange views on all aspects of statistical methods applied to the problems of development in Africa. - To promote research in statistics and stochastic modelling in Africa. - To encourage the use of statistical methods to solve economic, social and developmental problems in Africa. - To foster the transfer of knowledge on statistical and stochastic modelling. - To lay the foundations of a pan-African network for research on statistical and stochastic modelling oriented towards the development of Africa.
