International Conference "Social Security Systems and Demographical Challenges"
The aim of this year's conference is to assess the impact of selected demographic processes (population aging in economically developed countries, but also labor-related migration in some countries, including Poland) on the functioning of the pension system, health care and family policy - now and in the foreseeable future of the next 20-30 years. Moreover, the discussion will include financial and regulatory aspects of social security systems, the interrelationship of social security systems (such as the impact of extending the retirement age on the additional burden of the health care system) and their relationship with the labor market (e.g. under-insurance of entrepreneurs running their own businesses and its consequences).
