International Workshop of the Ensuring Economic and Employment Stability (EES) Research Network "Labor Market Institutions and the Macroeconomy"
The conference aims to bring together high-quality research that is at the intersection of labor economics and macroeconomics. We are interested in theoretical and empirical contributions on how institutions affect the aggregate labor market performance and shape the reaction of the labor market to macroeconomic shocks. We are also particularly interested in papers relating micro and macro evidence on labor market characteristics. Suitable paper topics include (but are not limited to): - The effect of labor market institutions on wages and labor market dynamics - Lessons of the great recession for designing labor market institutions - Differences in labor market dynamics between the United States and Europe
