Research conference on "Remittances, the Macroeconomy, and Public Policy"
The conference is intended to provide a forum for discussing innovative research on remittances and to facilitate the exchange of views among researchers and policymakers. Possible topics include (but are not restricted to) volatility of remittances and their impact on investment and growth, remittances and real exchange rate misalignment, remittances and financial sector development, remittances and fiscal and monetary policy, remittances and public policy complementarities, regulatory framework for remittances, and remittances, poverty, and inequality.
