Second ECB Conference on "Credit, banking and monetary policy" - European Central Bank
The aim of this conference is to enhance theoretical and empirical understanding of the channels through which monetary policy is transmitted to financial intermediaries and credit markets. Topics: - Monetary policy and financial intermediaries, - The impact of conventional and unconventional monetary policy measures on banks, - Empirical studies on the factors driving transmission of credit shocks, - The bank lending channel from a cross-country perspective, - The real effects of monetary policy transmission via the credit channel, - Theoretical (e.g. DSGE) and empirical models with a particular focus on the banking sector, - Analysis of the behaviour of credit intermediaries, - Monetary policy, banking efficiency, bank solvency and capital structure.
