The First Annual Max Planck India Workshop on Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Economic Growth
In particular, the workshop will address the following topics: - Assessment of differences and similarities between Germany and India in the industrial structure of entrepreneurship. Such an assessment should at least make a distinction between entrepreneurship in innovative industries and in other industries; more detailed analyses are welcome. - Analysis of the impact of these different types of entrepreneurship in Germany and India on regional and national economic performance. - Assessment of the differences in the motivational structure of entrepreneurship in both countries. - Assessment of the spatial distribution and local clustering of entrepreneurship in different industries and analysis of its impact on economic performance. - Issues in firm demography in both countries.
