TSE - Banque de France Conference " Macroeconomics and Liquidity "
The financial crisis has been a sore reminder of the relevance of liquidity. A fruitful dialogue has developed among central bankers and regulators, academic researchers, financial institutions and market participants. To contribute to the academic and policy research on those topical issues, the Toulouse School of Economics (TSE) and Banque de France jointly organise an international conference on the economics of liquidity crises and on the macroeconomic implications of liquidity management. This conference follows up on the Special Issue on Liquidity of the Banque de France Financial Stability Review released in February. It is also part of a larger and longer term partnership between TSE and Banque de France aiming at developing the economic and financial research in fields relevant for central banks.
