Workshop "A Long-run Approach to Entrepreneurship - The Demography of Firms and Industries in Europe: Past, Present and Future perspectives"
The present workshop is mainly designed to spearhead opportunities for social scientists to network and collaborate on ongoing and future research in entrepreneurship and the demography of firms and industries. We particular welcome submissions on the following sub-themes relating to entrepreneurship and the demography of firms and industries: - Longitudinal designs and different methods of analyzing longitudinal data - Population data on different levels of analysis - Measurement and operationalization problems in entrepreneurship, innovation, and business demography - The economics of entrepreneurship and growth - The economics of entrepreneurship and innovation - Entrepreneurship: gender, ethnicity and migration - The diffusion of innovation - The impact of entrepreneurship and innovation on the labor market - Entry and exit of firms - Business failure and success The website for the workshop will be available soon.
