Workshop "Dealing with excessive corporate indebtedness"
The workshop will be a one-day event featuring three sessions of analytical presentations, three scene-setting interventions and a final policy-oriented panel discussion. - The first session will set the framework of corporate debt. - The second session will focus on the link between deleveraging and growth. - The third session will focus on the connections between corporate debt, the financial sector and financial crises. - The panel will aim at distilling lessons from country cases and implications for the future. The discussion will be structured in two parts: presentations and then second-round interventions. The panel would comprise participants from public institutions and international organisations and from the private sector
