Workshop on “Diverging Paradigms on EU Trade Policy”
The purpose of the workshop is to bring together authors that analyze the EU’s external trade policies from different theoretical or paradigmatic perspectives. The central research question focuses on EU policy-making in this area and particularly on the respective roles of the European Commission, the member states, and non-state actors in determining and affecting these policies through the EU’s trade relations with third countries and in the WTO. The ultimate purpose of the workshop is to work on a special issue or a book volume (with a clear preference for a special issue) on this topic.
