Workshop on “Perspectives on the theory of We-thinking” in honour of Michael Bacharach
The following topics will be covered: 1) theoretical aspects: • connection between we-thinking assumptions and cognitive models of reasoning and their application to game theory. • the contribution of we-thinking theory to the development of models of human behaviour based on motivational complexity. • relation between we-thinking and ethics. 2) experimental and applied aspects: • the contribution of we-thinking to the analysis of non-purely selfish behaviour in experiments. • study of cooperation within firms through team-thinking assumptions • application to applied ethics: contribution of we-thinking to the explanation of the role of shared principles in multi- stakeholder governance processes.
